When i go again melody it will be a stopover as doing it in a oner is very tiring not just the numb bum but a crinked neck straining against the windblast ( need taller screen) (or slow down a bit )

but you are most welcome if you want to tag along.

Hi Richie,

It was good to meet you again, even though it was for a short time.

For those of you that don't know i meet up with richie at the Devils Bridge at around 0900 ready to go on a little ride out with him and mel. I was just in the middle of eating my sausage sandwhich when i got a phone call from my wife, who was on holiday with the kids down in andover, hampshire staying at her mums house.

Out of the blue, my mother-in-law (57 years old) had died in her sleep and my wife and kids had found her.

My little girl, who is 7 is not quite sure what is going on, but my lad who is 12 is heart broken as is Janet, my wife.

Me and the kids came home yesterday, and my wife will be coming back tomorrow.

I will be out again on some of the rides, but it may be in a few weeks time when life gets back to some sort of normality.

So to my mother-in-law

Seriously sincere condolences mate, i know where your coming from. i was on a tour of germany (2007) when i got the call my dad had been taken into intensive care.

tis a gutwrenching telephone call and was a long fraught ride back.

take care and hope we meet up again soon.
