This could be why they haven't asked the public. There's a lot of not-so-obvious financial and market factors to be considered - basically we wouldn't survive out of europe, and the opinion of the common man just isn't informed enough to make a sensible decision (one of the many drawbacks of democracy). This is best left to the "experts" - fingers crossed we can trust them.

(1) Then perhaps they should be made obvious by means of information & explanation ?

(2) YOUR opinion - not neccessarily a fact !!

(3) As per (1)

(1) & (3) This of course should be done using no words with more than 2 syllables - just so us common people can understand what we are being told.

Sorry that wasn't mean to be offensive but it was a little blunt. I include myself within the "common man" definition; i just happen to realise that some subjects can't be explained to everyone. Economics is a complicated area and unless one has been studying it for many years (which i haven't) and then gained an awful lot of experience, any opinion we might have is very likely to be wrong. Even then there are many theories out there, and disagreements amongst the experts, so its a minefield.

What the ball ache is about the if you don't vote, you can't talk about it. I would like to vote but I'm not 18 till end of June, I do keep my eye on politics + am quite interested in the business side of the news except the ridiculous overhaul of mediaisation of a recession, is my thoughts then also canceled out?

My parents say they'd rather not have any of the parties there at the minute tbh, although if I could vote, I would vote conservative.

In your case, its more that you can't vote - nowt you can do about it, so no need to worry.

just remember though that if you spoil your paper you are still leading the way for that person with a small majority to get in on apathy - only use it as a last resort.
otherwise i still haven't a clue who i'm voting for - recieved nothing about whos standing so i'll need to brave the hoards standing outside tomorrow

If you word that a little better so I can understand please???? People who don't vote may not ahve a clue what your on about but would like to know more, as im one of these people....

Spoilt to me sounds like a over-privilaged little brat child....

I take it its an extra option which basically says "I don't trust any of you, you have no mandate"

but what does that mean for me as a voter over anything else?????? Whats a spoilt vote going to do???
