Quick one again, dont want to start a new thread on it..

Got clutch lever and shift lever sorted. Bolt through jobbie on the shift lever. The pushrod had a slight bend in it as it looks like the lever bent in and bent it a little. Bent it back, but the lever is still bent in a little to much ie. rubbing of the rod slightly but only very slightly. Grand though. Adjusted the rod a bit to raise the lever height a little bit, but when i did she wouldnt downshift past 3rd gear. All the way up no problem, but wouldnt go down past 3rd. Would press down, but spongy with no click?? Whats up with that? Adjusted the rod back a turn to where it was and its grand...
Just curious is all

Wow, thats odd, spoke to a guy recently who was putting an armstrong on the back of his trick bike, cant say he swore by them, but there again, he would hardly be doing over 50 /60 mph in general on it .
