Shame I had to miss out! I had me swimming trunks ready too

That looks like you had a great time, where abouts is the lake in pics 25 and 26? Looks like a superb spot for a paddle!

pity you could not get your brother in law Billy Bob to lend you his boat, but there is no point in having the fastest when the water police ticket you for doing more than 10mph.

Oh the irony

Indeed it was!

It was such an amazing run with spectacular views. I would never have mapped out such a route on my own with such lovely back roads, so thank you amarko for a fantastic day out.

299.1 miles from my house and back.

Can't stop smiling.

Helloooo Blackfire. . . . .

Not seen you around in ages. How are you?

Definitely not getting my knee down. Nowhere near it, but have done a few miles since I last saw you.

We must catch up.

quickly and safely when needed, and slow and steady when needed, it's a pleasure to ride in her company, and she is a really pleasant conversationalist as well.

Wish I'd not been working, would have loved to have joined you - looks like a cracking day out.
Thank you guys. I'm blushing furiously now.

Here are some of my pictures. They are pretty much the same as amarko's, so I'll just add on a few.

Waiting for the ferry. My very first ferry crossing ever . . . . . .shame it only last a few minutes.

A rather selfish man hogging the best seat in the house.
