Don't worry about it, your arms will hold it in place and your fairing takes the wind blast off it, plus on long journeys you can rest your chest on it

Yes, monsoon rain isn't worth going out in if you don't need to, but get a fender extenda ASAP, as riding on one cylinder isn't recommended, i know I've tried it

Search the threads for the best method of attaching it, either araldite, silicon sealant or some other glue. It's a popular subject & mod
