back being spongy again this aft. think you could pop over and mess abouty with it before i wake up in the morning? if i book you in for 3 times a week i should have decent brakes then

I'm pretty sure the face can be replaced - but finding a suitable replacement might be tricky. It looks to me like its got wet or hot or it could even be the effect of bright sunlight, or all of the above.

Look at a parts diagram to see how it comes apart. It might not be necessary to get the old face off as a new one could just cover it, but it would be neater to remove it.

Let me know if you need a hand and i'll turn up with a load of spanners...
