where to live around doncaster?

There's a nice prison in donny, says it all really. Adwick le street is ok but a bit snobby.

I live in Ackworth (when I am not in Italy), chosen because it was smack bang in the middle between Doncaster and Leeds (where I worked and where she worked), a good ride down the A638 which is now too busy, 7 pubs and very few crime ridden ex-miner hovel parts. Also there were some new builds which suited us better.

No gym though, there are gyms in Pontefract, Wakefield, Doncaster and also a big one just outside Hemsworth/South Emsall.

Ackworth sounds like a good call to me for with the OP's requirements.
