The Vstrom is a perfectly capable bike, friend of mine who usually rides a loopy KTM borrowed one to do a rideout and although obviously no supermoto, it hustles/goes/stops/wheelies nicely... are you looking at the 650 or litre version?

I'm giving serious thought to buying a KTM Adventure to replace my Daytona, if you're going to the AR in august perhaps we could have a pannier orgy?

Winter riding will never be the same.
put them together and you have a bike capable of all-weather riding. handlebar muffs are also good, but floppy.

Like my old pointy?
Hand guards and heated grips is the combo.
Never liked muffs. In all respects

Aye.
Prevented me reaching full lock, got a MOT done with them on, the guy only gave me a advisory, but he should have failed me for it.
It is noticeable when manouvering(sp), but definatly worth it for the protection..

Cleaning? Pffft..

Takes up too much time.
Maybe once per month I will give it a 10 minute clean with some hot water and soap.
ACF50 the rest of the time.

It doesn't need a loving home, it had one, no longer in my possession
