I`m reconsidering my route Mike so you could possibly have my place?... will speak to you tomor if you`re at the meet. On reflection my hols last year taught me my limits and I`m now thinking that an 8 to 10 hour ride up there followed by a big rideout the next day might be too much for me. I`m also planning on staying on a few days and doing some touring so I don`t want to be tiring myself out.

I don`t want to do all motorway but i`m thinking that maybe a combination of A roads with a bit of motorway might be the best.

Am I seeing things or have I just replied to an imaginary post by Mike Regency?

Hi Claire
Further on from Ralph's meet point is Hartside - quite near M6/A66 junction @ Penrith if that's any help. Not sure what eta is there yet.

The A & B road route isn't closed to new people as such, just if we get new people they/we really need to form two groups.
