My favourite quote form the friday nigth Soho meet was while Mark was telling us about his journey and how much he was loving it..."even stopping for pics seemed wrong, i was enjoying the ride far too much for all that"

Glad you had such a good time Mark, its nice to hear after all the tough time and pain you've had over the last couple of years.

Wednesday was indeed one of the best days riding I've spent in ages. I still think I held you up somewhat.
I do like what made me feel better over this

''actually Lou if you shove in fag stops(which were happening anyway) our average speed was really the same

It was a truely super day, to be able to ride with someone whose not critical in a sarcastic way, and actually complemented and gave me honest but good critisism. It inspired me to do the A65 in the dark I aren't usually so brave.

When do we go up there again

As I said Lou, Wednesday was a lovely day, enough to be interesting, but not taxing, after the previous day it was just about right; I had fun, with a lovely lady to accompany me; who could ask for more

the timing was almost perfect, I'd stop have a fag, take a pic or two, then you'd arrive and we'd both kick off again.

Thursday was different; more selfish "me" time and I'm not sure I'd want to have been riding with anyone else anyway, that was an "own limits" kind of thing.

As always I'm only ever blunt and honest, it wasn't so much critisism; as how to progress from where you currently are, there isn't anything at all worrying about your riding Hun and I'll ride with you anytime I can (well done on the run home, knew you'd do anything to save spending the night with me... ).

As to the next time, who knows, but I do know a nice brew and warm hug (or two) awaits this old southener when he venture up that end of the country again.

Cheers Mark.

Oh missed the motorway, huddersfield way, went through Glossop at one point and down to the A6 , some interesting roads, through Derby and onto the M1 for the last run home.

Cheers Mark.

Hudds? I think if you found your way to Glossop, then you may have gone down the roads matt tried describing before you left, over Holmfirth, Holme Moss and down through the peaks?
