LOL.

ha ha. It will run damn it!

Just found that the clutch vacuum gasket thing is leaking, wondering if that might cause my problems of oil pressure. Looks like it could be sucking enough pressure?

I'm not fully familiar with the clutch of said bike, but I do understand how it works and thus don't see how the vacuum system could be responsible for low oil pressure.

I have heard of a collapsed oil filter (internal collapse of the element that is) causing a similar fault on an old audi 80 engine. May be worth chucking a new filter on just in case.
best of luck

Well I think (because I cant test it) I found the issue. The oil bypass piston was indeed stuck open! So wayyyy easy fix.

Now the bad news (to me) I managed to shear a bolt head off of one of the 6 spring bolts on the clutch. Sigh!!!!! My old man is looking into getting the bolt out. Must be made of bloody monkey metal as it got no where near the recommended Torque! Next time I think it'll be hand tight just incase. Thats the reason I cant test it. Sigh!

It doesnt rain... it POURS!

One of those bolts. Sigh. Stretched the rest as well. My dads managed to get it out for me thankfully and might be able to get me some bolts to replace them. Thanks christ!

Go on, tell us, what torque were you trying to tighten those (long, spindly) bolts to. Go on. Go on go on go on.

No 13 on there. It costs £75 to replace which to be fair isnt too bad... Was trying to tighten them to 30nm. Thought it was wrong but checked a couple of times and that is what it said. Sigh

...I thought you only needed to replace the bolts.
