I rinse my bike down with a hose after rain rides at least, and bolts get sprayed with WD 40 (if your spraying on the brake caliper bolts, then use some rag to stop WD getting on the discs). The particular area's i tend to are the caliper bolts, the fork stanchions, rear shock, linkage bolts, rear axle bolts and chan tensioner bolts. I also spray the footpegs + levers with WD but oil them after

Not so many furry bits on my bike, although a bit of bubbling is starting to occur on the fork legs...last winter was eating my bike up

As it stands, tehres no real bike thats goo for the wet weather, although I have noticed yamaha's, BMW's and (slightly older) honda's hold up well to all weather riding

Brake pads are consumables - replaceing pads ent a brake rebuild. Whack some harder pads on. Won't stop as well but last longer.

Or lay off the brakes?

Went through a set after 15k/ 2 years... and was starting to think I might pop this pistons out & give 'em a clean (preventitive rather than knackered though)

Can think of bikes that stand up to the weather better but ent no "all weather riding proof" ones.
