Dude , this is exactly the same problem I had on the Glencoe Massacre II , If I had seen this thread sooner I would have given you the same advice , Northwind had some crimp connectors and Yorkie Chris just snipped out the bad parts and crimped together the offending wire and wound round a couple of windings of Black nasty Insulting tape . No problems ever since

Nice one Dave , I forgot you took that piccy , and looking at it , it`s exactly the same wire that Warren has burnt out as well . Mine was blamed on the fact that I have fitted an ABM comfort kit and that my re-routing of the cables put a bit of strain on my loom which does seem feasable . Would be interesting to see if you have standard clip-ons Warren and what year bike you have as we are starting to see this problem crop up . As far as we knew mine was one of the first to do this and a rare occurrance , maybe we have a slight design fault on certain models or some of us have fitted Bar/Yolk kits , would be nice to know for future reference and others with the same problem using our search feature .

its a k3 pointy and nothing on it has been changed like that, ive only purchased cosmetic things, none of that stuff. Cant remember who it was told me about the green plug because the same thing had happened to him... was on the sv forum tho
