nowt wrong with them for road use provided they have enough tread.

SK is right though about suspension set up, ignore the bobbly bits at the edge and look at the ripples just right of the center line.

not sure what tyre pressure you used but may be a little low, alternatively you need to experiment a little with your shock damping (assuming you have any).

Yeap, the tyre is fine and well within legal limits.

The orange peel effect shows the tyre is working correctly, this means the tyre isn't over stressed and compensating for poor suspension settings.

we don't talk about he gravel !!!! i did about 5 metres in it and that was all, bike was upright at all times

Its far from being a problem Dave but that ripple can be tuned out with damping adjustments or tyre pressure usually. This particular example is a very minor case though, I've seen far worse.

ok, keep your hair on. I wasnt suggesting that you said it was a problem, I was trying to make sure that I wasnt being misunderstood implying that the markings were really bad, as they are not.

Was just trying to say that although this is very minor it can still be improved. No big deal.
