Fair enough, I have seen how much more Uni cost now its really shocking I'm glad I got all that done to be honest. I'm still paying the loan, dam it!

Why not commute on the bike in that case, trains are generally crap and cost loads anyway. I use the train to get work, for a quite a while it is annoying how often the tube seems to stop working for no good reason.

Aren't there some kind of grants you can get now? Might be worth looking into, but I know nothing about them I started college back in 99 so no idea whatb happens now.

At Leeds there's bugger all as far as grants are concerned to get to uni by bike.

kept my sv outside under a cover thru 2 scottish winters. Only problem I had was couple of guys trying to steal it. Luckily my shift working neighbour stopped them with his big dog, baseball bat and tazer.
