There are a number of different pilot models:
Power Race (Race) Power One (Race/Trackday) Pilot Sport (Sport) Pilot Road (Sports Touring) The Sport and Road come in two options - normal (old style) which is one single compound and 2CT (new style) which have softer compounds on the edge for grip and harder wearing ones in the centre for longevity.you Just so compare like with like when you're choosing. |

Yeh I was looking at the PR2 2CT's. Either them or the Avon Storms which appear to be getting pretty good reviews for wet grip

Ordered a pair of Storms from Busters. Was paramount as I looked today and my rear was on the cords!

if your gonna get the Avons then dont get the storm gets the VP2 its a newish tyre from what I've been told better than the storm, soft compound at the edge hard down the centre. But if you dont want to spend £200 then get your self some Maxxis Supermaxx Radial, its what I'm currently on best value £130 I've prob ever spent.
