ever done motocrossing? it really helps its how i held a bike after hitting a pothole with my knee down on a mate R6, the parked car on the other side of the could be avoided. gws a broken collar bone is painful. your sv seems to have a couple of scratches just polish them out it will be fine

cool cheers. So what's the plan? repair it or fighter it? damage looks limited to the front end and the tank appears ok. The radiator would do the job still unless its leaking. Handlebars look relatively unscathed. Are the forks still straight?

to check the forks, set the bars straightish and look across the forks comparing one leg to the other. If they line up with each other they're probably ok.

If the rad leaks, it will most likely need replacing. You can get repair stuff but that won't help with the cosmetic issue.

By "fighter it" I mean turn it into a streetfighter - take the front fairing off and fit a naked style headlight unit (or any type of headlight that takes your fancy).

But obviously you need to find out why the engine doesn't start first. Does it turn over on the starter?

@ Ophic hey, it turns over yeah but just repeats and makes the staticy start noise thing when you turn the key, and i'll try replace the fron end tbh, more my style any help will be appreciated.

@ Cymroboi i was a computer engineer but i quit as i am going to uni next week, so great start for me turning up looking battered and i have to sleep upright with pillows and the headboard for support. i too have to go back to the hospital in about 4 months to see if they need to take the plate out.
