Ok, I fitted the oil seal today but its not flush. As it was going in, looks like one side is further in than the other. Im hoping this will be ok?
If not, i have a second (always good to be prepared) |

Seal should fit in flush, what are you knocking it in with?
Clutch pushrod seal is not under much pressure but crap can get dragged through it. output shaft seal is a possible culprit, not easy to change though. These leak much more in motion, not usually when stationary.

I was pushing it in by finger pressure then a socket to tap it in. Didnt hav e a socket that was an exact fit though.
It was the pushgrod seal that had gone, The new one ive fitted doesnt seem to be leaking. If it does start to leak then I'll refit it using a decent something to push the seal in flush |
