its bloody amazing for whats considred the bottem end spec.
Was quite supprise at how good they actually looked when i got them on the pc.

That's from a NIKON D40X?! Wow I've read in camera forums that it's good and underestimated. It's 6Mp but the sensor isn't over-driven so less noise. As long as you have some basic camera knowledge most of the "higher spec" cameras make less sense.

I'm always on a look-out for one on ebay

6mp ?? nope 10.2mp, so that explains the quailty.
I think i just used the auto settings aswell for most of the shots as they were just quick snaps. although if you want to get into it it has all the settings and adjustments you could want to make.
For the price..... Just brilliant.

Yes you're right BBadger. I've mistaken it for the D40. Your D40X was upgraded to 10.2Mp.
