ahh found out that the valve check is done at 4 years old or 15k miles what ever comes first and the bike was serviced buy dealer up till this year so will have been done already

So in the end I paid £313 for the 15K service. Out of this I guess about £30 went
towards replacing the tank protector. So the actual price of service and MOT worked out at around £280, about £100 above the usual price. Quite a lot, but I have been told that this valve clearance check takes a lot of time. |
