Easily and safly done if the road is clear. Doing a wheelie is far more dangerous. How do you think the picture is taken?

Was not in the UK though, but during my ped days, i did check the time on my phone a few times

I saw a curior talking on his phone in richmond, heading southwards, the other week. He was approaching trafficlights, it was very busy...he was just rumbling alng at tickover (clutch hand in use to hold phone).

Seen a couple of people texting whislt riding too, gave one guy a very wide berth but tooted my horn (to let him know I was there, obviously)

Weaving in and out where really there's no room !! ..... now I'm happy to filter with the best of them ..... but I don't expect their new bikes will ever make it to MOT time !!

My mate used to wear a flip-front helmet, he would ride along on his moped with his mobile phone wedged into the helmet chatting to people, whilst eating food from the front storage pockets behind the headstock. Legend.

Why were drivers 'weaving past him' rather than just overtaking in a normal manner?!

Although im not condoning looking at your phone of course. Its not entirely sensible. I wouldn't do it now, and the camera on my phone is a simple 1 button push so extremly easy when your on a dead straight motorway with only 2 other bikes in frontal and behined view :lol

re: the weaving bit - that was a figure of speech, but when your doing around 70 and theres suddenly a bike doing 20mph less it did cause some to react quickly.
