SZ1 ur a god
it seems mad that these fixed my brake problem

if any of you are thinking uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

well i come in last night after work put my bike away and decided ill try the rubber band trick see if it works. so i pulled the lever in and put bands around the handle bar and the lever so the brake lever is pulled in and i left the mastercyclinder cap on.

i left over night or for about 15 hours and just had a look at it took the mastercyclinder cap off. omg i have hardley any fluid in there better top it up so i did then i stuck cap back on. i then took rubber bands off and OMG my brake is like new lever is very stiff and its just amazing i am very happy cor do i love the org :P also i checked for leaks and all is good.

so if any one says to you stick rubber bands on you lever over night try it coz it might work well it did for me any way

cheap way to fix my epic brake problem

A big Zip tie to hold the brakes full on overnight fixed my GS125 brakes. It's mad that such a simple trick can fix really annoying brakes!

It's worth mentioning that the brake lever tie-back trick doesn't always work due to air in the system. If you've got a sticky piston, tying back the lever overnight lets the seals relax on it in a pushed out position. Over the next day or two it will return to its previous spongy state...meaning it needs to be repeated. Had this issue myself, was convinced it was a bleeding problem as tying back worked wonders for about a day or so. Eventually I pumped the pistons forward 10mm, cleaned them thoroughly and pushed them back in. Voila, hard brakes again, and no need for bleeding.
