For a few months now I've been feeling the itch, started buying the MCN again... Bought BiKE and PB, just to look I told myself... Then I walked past a Kawasaki dealer... Next thing I'm sitting on a Versys and talking 0% deals with the guy... This is how they lure you in, offer the bike cheap... He actually used the phrase free money when talking 0% the sneaky barsteward!

Then I realised, they'd have to service it if I wanted to keep the warranty... How frikkin' much for a service??!!
Then I looked at a '09 Versys, £2k less than the '10, with only 6k miles... Frikkin' depreciation!!

I escaped with my debit card unmolested but my feverish thoughts had me tapping away searching on ebay, surely there is a bike that will satisfy my craving without pauperising me in the process... Maybe a SR500, flat track or cafe racer stylee... Nope rare now, loadsa money... Custom this, build meself that... I exhausted every idea that my bikes jonesed brain could pumpout...

Then I thought feck it, just give up and buy the vuaxhall astra of bikes... the pointy sv650 and ride it...

Yay, buy a pointy and all will be right with your world.

Although, I have been looking at the Versys and thinking "ooh, I like that..." Maybe one for the wife I feel.

Got myself a naked k3, rode it 244 miles yesterday to get it home... Today my bum is rather sore.

It's got wide braced renthals on it and I'm not sure if they'll stay, will ride it with them on a for a bit, but have got a set of flat bars that are usually more my style, well they were on the curvey as they offered the more comfort than the standard clipon with giving the remote feeling from the mx style bars. Compared to my previous bikes it feels like a chopper.

Also non-existent rear brake, not even good enough to u turn with.

Front brakes really bad, 7 year old bike needs braided lines by now maybe?

Feels like suspension has been tweaked, in that it's now very hard and every little bump went right up my spine.

I used Tuono bars - fat bar look without all the width. Were cheaper on ebay than Renthals as well.
