Thanks
sorry to be a pain matt have you got a pick of your gel seat?
The 1 i have bought was mega comfy but some of the piping was coming away from the edge of the seat, so when i pointed it out to the salesman he said he would put a new seat on there. He is gonna look for a gel seat for me though, but i was wondering if it had a gel seat already fitted as it seemed so plush. So dont want to risk it being replaced with a standard seat if its already got the gel 1.
Any idea if it will need re-mapping with the trident pipes?
Any good triumph forums out there?

Also - not sure if you know, but there is a recall on all Sprint ST1050s at the moment for a replacement suspension drag link, had mine done on Saturday, only takes about 15 mins

Dan

No pics, however I have just had a look at the two seats. The standard one is all covered in the same material, looks very similar to sort of material as the SV seats are covered in.

The gel seat looks as though it is part leather/part suede type fabric - the seat pads are suede, the lower bits are leather. The gel seat also has a 'triumph' tag/label on the right hand side, whereas there are no labels on the standard seat.

The trident pipes do need the Triumph TOR (Triumph Off Road) download from a dealer. Forgot to mention earler, you can also get a Triumph race can - known as the TOR - have seen some on ebay recently for about £220 new, which is a bargain.

There are some triumph sites however I still hang around here most of the time (there are probably more triumph owners on here than on both of them anyway ):-

www.triumphrat.net
www.triumphtorque.com

Also, if you are getting it from a triumph dealer make sure they do the suspension drag link replacement before you get it, saves the hassle of having to take it back.
