Depending if I have a bike by then (I hope to have one by next week!) I'll be up for this and I don't mind being tail end charley unless we are doing drop off, which I am also cool with....

Even with drop-off, there is still a need for a TEC. Otherwise the guys marking the junctions won't know who the last man is. Or have I misunderstood your meaning?

Well, I was assuming that we'd all know eachother and the guy who was TEC from the last drop can signal to the current "drop-off" that they are the last man/woman/monkey

An organised TEC works a lot better in practice, usually wearing a high-viz.

Well, I got a few of them, so, the offer is there. But, never had an issue on other ride-outs I been on... Although, I was usually the slowest anyway...
