Glad your ok my hubby was shunted from the 2nd lane to the 3rd on the motorway on our way back from the bulldog bash by a coach, i was riding behind him so had to hanker up, saw the coach just go into his lane no indication naff all. Luckily the motorway near to where we live wasnt that bad at the time so no damage done, but Lissa is right those buses / coaches are huge up close.
And the goverment want us to use the bus lanes Last edited by suzijax; 12-11-09 at 08:22 PM. |

badly bent brake lever and foot peg. exhaust scratched (minor) crashbung damaged scratches on fairing - lower right side... the only major issue i worried about is the back brake lever... cant reach it without having to twist my foot around ![]() hopefully i wont have any issues off the bus company and they gonna pay for the repairs.. ![]() the joys of commuting!!! ........ endless ![]() |

Single decker or double decker?
I fought a single decker and lost, although I'm still here to prove it. Happened when I was 13 ![]() So there's at least 2 bus fighters on the Org Glad you're ok

I had an open topped London sightseeing bus roll over the toe of my boot a few months back - decided he wanted to move into my space without checking to see if I had vacated it first!
Does that count as a bus fighter? |

Lame...at least you're all good though. Enough worries in front of us, let alone having to worry about stupid things like shunts!!

Don't forget to get a new helmet out of the bus company if you fell over - not worth the risk!!!.
A colleague at work had to lay his bike down yesterday when a car pulled out without looking. Luckily on a bit of damage to bike and torn clothing. Loads of witnesses and driver apologised/took responsibility. I had to remind him about the helmet, which apparently hit the deck. Glad you are ok |
