Well you learn something new every day. I don't recall having one pretty much any bike I'v had since the 90's. I guess the MOT garages I went to see were more practical and thought that a new invention called "The tail light" was better and than a reflector as well on the back as this would have as much point as holding up a piece of paper to stop a bullet.
Strangely though I get the idea of having them on the side of a bike but we don't have that law unless I have missed something? Edit - Just looked at some pics of the curvy I brought a couple weeks back and although the rear fender has been chopped it still has a reflector - I'll get my coat ..... ![]() Last edited by 5hort5; 17-11-09 at 12:02 AM. |

Just tell your MOT man if he wants the sale that bad you will give him the quid for the reflector, just don't stick the bleeder on yer bike.
You have to train these MOT types.

Hence 2 number plates, one with chunky reflector. One without.

A lot of older designs had the reflector integral in the tail light lens/cover, easy not to notice it's there.

Don't know about MOT but wuld be pretty usless in use relying on every driver having full beam on to reach that high. |
