Modern Warfare 2: Final thoughts.

I generally get annoyed with the game online. It seems to be that there is often a lot of Lag. Ill shoot 3 bursts into someone's face and see the hit and then suddenly be dead from one shot. Then it shows you his screen and it looks like im facing the other way never mind shooting at him! This seems to happen farrrr too often.

On the whole though when that isnt happening I enjoy it.

tbh mw-2 for me was a bit of a meh game too short good while it last campaign and now just playing ac2 is highlighting how lazy iw are 5 hour's too complete a game get up and **** off iw until you learn how to provide value for money product.

I completed this in Veteran mode on Sunday ........... damn it`s bloody nails in that mode , lots of keeping yer head down , scoping , back down , up , pop some skulls and then back down again .

I only bought it for the online for something to keep me out of the pub.

I find it ok, but to be honest preffered the first modern warfare online due too 2 things.

- This ridiculous host thing where half way through a game a host leaves and we all have to wait for the game to mess around sort itself out, also causing massive lag points.

- Too many flaming annoying little objects, i can run without getting stuck on something, and therefore find myself repetedly getting shot just trying to get past say an office desk... too many little detailed items getting in the way essentially.

Other than that very good game.

verry good game SP was brill hard but thats the way veteran should be, bit short at 6hours 33min (hardend), mp is good but you get owned buy all the level 40+ using the bloody m16 but once ure at 40 and have the uber gun (m16) then it becomes fun and the kills fly up.

some wepons are pants and no point in having them as they are no use EG non auto shot guns (apart from Hard core) as the just spray and then you get one in the head from the bloke ure trying to kill, pearks are wayyy better than the other games like bling pro you can have to of any thing on any gun its so fun to have a acog scope and silencer with stoping power pro on .

as im on pc we should have dedicated servers (because the way pc works) and there is non so can get stupid laggy at time using match making basicly i will run the whole game (host) if from my pc and people conect to me and iahve crap internet so evory one lags and get pised off :/

all in all a brill game SP and TDM hard core rule

Well , in answer to your first complaint , this type of service was adopted by Bungie as well for Halo2 onwards , if your host dropped out then the system would try and find the best host with the fastest ping to enable the game to run better .... rather than booting you all to a lobby to start again , like it used to in the Rainbow games on the old Xbox , or worse , just throw you out completely . This led to a lot of my friends just giving in for the night and turning the Xbox off in disgust . Unfortunately , with you being in the IOM , you are probably going to come worse off in the lag stakes due to being very isolated from everybody else comms wise .

Secondly , one thing that may help you is the `A` button (I`m assuming you are on 360 here , use equivalent PS3 button to jump) . This will help you vault over objects and low walls , if it doesn`t and somebody shoots at you , then you may just end up jumping on the spot , in which case they might end up shooting you in the legs and you might survive . It`s a case of getting that rank up to get better equipment , a quick way to do this is to go into a "Free for All" game and shoot anything that moves Hope this is of some help to you .

couldnt agree more with the complaints about lag! drives me up the friggin wall! and am now bored of the game.

i can not work out why it is telling me i have a good connection (full green bars) and then i get killed by someone flitting around the place.. surely it should be the other way round?

the auto aim thing is seriously annoying as well. if you are well hidden and someone notices their crosshairs drag they can kill you without ever seeing you...
