Ay, those SV engines are built well. When my bike was laid up for 2 months, it got a charge on the optimate then it too rumbled into life. Needed a bit of turning over on the button to get it going though, maybe some stale fuel in the carbys then

Similar story with mine. Its been stood out in the elements for 2 months (whilst I recover from broken tib/fib) and started first time, no bother.

Amazing change since I had my datatool system 3 removed, as back then it wouldnt start if not ridden for more than 2 days, and that was when in the garage during the summer!
