Sign up to mybuilder.com - it's free, you put up a job i.e. "Complete electrical re-wire needed" and then electricians will get in contact to come round to quote. You can even view the feedback other people have given each tradesman (tradesperson?) so you get a feel for how good each one is. It saves a lot of bother of ringing round for quotes etc.

Congrats guys, i'm sure you'll have agreat time arguning about colour scheems and all those fun things

I deign bathrooms and kitchens and the beatuy of that is that i dont even need to leave my place to do it, all you need to do is send me dimensions and a couple of pics and tell me what you like. I'll even find room in my heart to give you some kind of Org discount if you ask real nice like

So whens the house warming? Surely before all the work begins so you dont have to worry about people messing up the place?

Congrats you guys. My best wishes to you both for a long and happy life together

I still remember my first house (1991, £47k, 2 up, 2 down) more fondly that the other two we've had. So make sure you have some good memories to look back on

Like the occasional "s" or two

I know you're a mod on here, but even so it just sounded a bit too "high and mighty" to ignore

or forget to allow a blank unit for a dishwasher...or forget it needs a side panel to attach the door to if the model wont take an integrated door attachment.

Loads of things basically

I have no idea what a topo survey is, so may have one just to find out! lol. I do have an awesome garden that you KTM would like!
