K4 not 2004 k3, not sure what difference to the moutings there is between the models i just thought it was hight of the frame.

The way they mounting plates are wrong is that there are 2 new bolts that must screw into them ( these have threads inside which the actualy tidy tails bolts to ). but anyways these 2 new ones dont screw into the plate fully or at all really i mean 80% of the thread is still showing.
a la my problem....getting new ones sent out though.

Happened to me when I tried to fit one to my K8....it was a pig, posted some pics on here about it and eventually spoke to helpfull chappy at R&G who advised it was the wrong one.
