Well done Lozzo, quite an achievement to give up. Keep that will power going mate.
Chris is giving it a go by cutting down and has already halved his usual consignment. He has smoked for so long there is no way he could go cold turkey. |

Amanda, I smoked thick rollies for 30 years, that's nonsense. My dad smoked 40 a day for 32 years and stopped half way through a working day. Anyone can go cold turkey if they have the desire to stop.

Cold turkey's the best way to go. I used to be 20-40 a day until someone I didn't like very much bet me that I couldn't do it and I had to win that bet.

this is how i quit . after my off i was in hospital for 8 days then couldn't move for another 2 weeks after that i thought whats the point and quit.
only have the odd one now and then when drinking with friends good luck mate

3 months for me, werthers original sweets done it and still are to an extent, i also have fruit and bikkies.
put on a stone though, but i always do in the winter so no big deal. well done lozzo, keep it up. |

Hey Lozzo, good luck and don't give up giving up. Me not had a smoke since 2005, but then I was not heavy and luckily did not develop enough of a habit that it became serious.
Feel for ya though. I know how Carol gets when she tries to give up, in her case the world had best hide! Hugs XXXXX
