I just use free AVG.
Question: How does free AVG make money, I see no advertising? Is it just riding on the people who pay for the full service? |

Most of there money is via corporations, they give out the free version to increase there user base and computer dominance as its good for business. Also allows them to be ontop of infections as they have more systems out there.
