Yeh got it back today. They said that there was some grease inside the wheel and when it went in the oven it melted and reacted with the powdercoating. I don't know if I believe that though. I think they just missed a bit
But I've got it back now and it's perfect, so I'm happy ![]() Should get the rest of the bearings done tomorrow. I did the sprocket carrier bearing yesterday and the grease in it really stank for some reason. |

I didn't have a socket big enough for the front bearings. But found that a R&G fork slider is the perfect size for the bearing

what ever you do................
do not hit the centre part of the bearing as it will leave markings on the race. which will make the bearing notchie and wear it out prematurely. |
