Jeans will ride up if you have a spill as they are softer and looser.
Leathers tend to stay where they are and let you slide. I just dont feel confident enough in kevlars, but then, that will keep my speed down ![]() |

These are what I have
http://www.jofama.se/motorcycle_wear...=2&id=82&cid=8 According to the guy in the shop who apparently has seen the test with his own eyes these have a higher apprasion resistance to leather and they are the cheapest bike jeans I have found. I still wear my leathers all the time though, unless it's really hot or I am just riding round town.

As has been said, they ride up etc. However for me, the biggest issue is armour. The removable armour is ok, but unless you wear the jeans skin tight, the armour won't remain where intended. Me and Lily went and got draggin jeans....as they had loads of nice styles.....then went and got CE approved motocross shorts and knee/shin guards. The shorts are comfy and have full armour in the hips, tops of the legs and round the back.
I don't think I've ever heard of people being mortally wounded by road rash.....but if you take a serious knock with no armour.....it aint gonna be pretty.
