What do you need to do to get a bike licence these days.

I passed my test last June so had to take the new style 2 module test. This would cost your daughter £100 for the CBT and I paid £700 for the actual training (including test fees) for the actual test, also you would need to budget in the theory test which is £31 and I bought a PC theory test trainer for £10 as I was worried about the hazard perception part.

Would also recommend your daughter get herself her own M/C kit i.e. Helmet, jacket and gloves, as those provided by the training centres are pretty rubbish.

Also you need to factor in that she needs to spend quite a few days down the training centre getting used to riding before the tests.

take cbt then do 2 day's of lessons (needs theory first) test one is off road manovers EG swerve test,uturn,walking bike, emergancy stop, slow ride at walking speed part 2 is on the road and you just ride around doing all the checks you are taught and bobs ure uncle fanys ure aunt

PS i did both of mine in one day, not adviable as the nerves get to you

Get her a 125cc get comfort on that after a CBT, do the test on it. Its easier and only restricted for 2 years then when i turn up at rivvy this year theres someone i can actually keep pace with!
