That's the problem with damper rod forks, there's no split between low and high speed so you get the worst of both worlds.

I've got a SRAD-750 shock you could have cheap but you have to shim the undertray down or use a much thinner battery. Actually scratch that, it's in bits and I can't be rsed bleeding and gassing it back up for what it's worth, get one off ebay
