all depends on what kind of formal it is...lol. If it was with work people and there were going to be bosses/clients there, I would choose one of the styles in my first PM. If it was a girly formal with friends, you can be a bit more daring and individual, but it's all down to personal choice. I actually bought one of the first dresses a few days ago and it looks 10 times better on. x

Oasis normally do a nice selection of evening dresses Kate. And they are normally around about the price of your budget.

i bought my last ones for Cherlone. I suppose people expect me not conform these days I will wear formal but always with a wee twist

What kind of dress are you looking for? Have a look on Asos - they have a range of collections from different designers and brands (you probably knew that already!)

Could also check out warehouse & coast - you might get lucky!
