you can get just fire and theft insurance until your restriction ends so your not paying for insurance your not using, which used to cost about £100 per year i dont know how much it is for sports bike tho. carole nash do it, we used to do it for our off road bikes but im sure they will do it for a GSXR if you ask nicely

btw its amost impossble to find a company which will do laid up cover, i tried ringing loads of companies and no one did it. my intention was to leave the gixxer in the garage untlll summer but i ended up having ot insure t properly and so get it out on the odd nice day.

yeah i wont do that, when yours was restricted mate, was it done by the washers?

Unlikely. House insurance often excludes anything automotive, even accessories. I had to fight tooth and nail to get a payout for some stolen bike locks.

im not worried about that ill insure it when i get it. its the 33bhp thats is causing me the problem at the moment.
