no it was off, im not that stupid, lol, i did turn it on & off a few time but would not start, so turn it on & off fast give it a few taps with a 12lb hammer.LOL now it works

Get some WD40 or some electrical cleaner on the switch, incase the connections are a bit gummy / corroded
maybe some condensation got in because of the cold temps
