Doh in my speed on the laptop this morning I totally missed this thread!

Thanks everyone for the well wishes

Unfortunately Mrs Skip and little one are still in hospital

According to the paediatrician he does not have the right technique for latching on and is hurting Mrs Skip. So she is expressing which is working quite well and hopefully after the three pretty decent feeds today they can come home tomorrow...

Had a bad night last night - no sleep until 3:45am

Midwife came this morning and it turns out we werent feeding him enough - and we were worried about overfeeding! Steep ol' learning curve this parenting lark
