Just got a quote from Carole Nash, £680.

Called them to see if they can match MCE's quote but they doubt they can do it. They said they will call me back.

At the end of the day all insurance companies are in the business of making it as hard as possible for their customers to make a claim. I don't think I know anyone who has praised their insurer.

Edit, just read stretchies post. Sound like they are even worse than most.

I'll have to wait till payday for that rack mate. Having to spend too much on insurance at the moment. How much do you want for it anyway?

If you want a damn good reliable car... do you go out and buy the cheapest one available?

This logic applies with insurance.

I recommend carol nash too.

Aqoute are unbelievable crap... you can phone up and not speak to a human for over 30 mins... then before speaking to a human it will just say 'sorry, no one is available to take your call right now, goodbye'

£69.50 new http://www.renntec.co.uk/REN7249

I am still on a mission to find a kappa or givi rack which will fit it though. I have emailed the manufacturers to see if they have ever produced a rack for the 929.

Actually I've had no problems with Bennetts for the most parts especially with my claim.

Re insuring was a bit of a pain but after afew calls it was sorted and there were virtually no queues to wait in.
