Chrome for me, some of it's annoying, but it's a nice quick browser.

Firefox 3.6 - have tried others IE8, Opera, even the apple one whose name escapes me at them moment - now that was chronically slow on the PC

The dev tools in Chrome and Firefox are impressive, IE8 is better compared to IE6/7 but still way off.
Yep, I agree. For the vast majority of sites there's barely any noticeable difference though. Unless I have a reason to then I stick with IE mostly and it works great, I also have some really useful plug-ins that I use that arent available in Chrome. I use some JS heavy sites that are much faster in Chrome.

Probably best to have a selection available and use what suits. Mostly its just a matter of personal preference.

another FF user. I found Chrome to be extremely fast page rendering, but without extensions it was a bit limiting.

Which one is best for spell check actually, I can't spell for s*** most days...however the biggest problem I have is putting across the right word for how I want to express myself I get mega frustraed trying to express myself in words how I really feel.

Have you downloaded the spell check dictionary though? One thing that puts people off FF is that it comes fairly stripped down ie featureless by default. This equates to less bloat for the people who know what plug-ins to install.

Opera all the way, especially the new version i upgraded to today. so smooth and so fast!
Used chrome but not happy about googles privacy "issues", tried firefox but its like a poor mans opera, apple's safari is quite nice too but opera for the mouse gestures alone wins hands down for me.
