From experience the forecast doesnt mean squat for Anglesey, it seems to have its own climate .

Assume the worst and everything else will be a bonus. The main problem there is usually wind rather than rain, its a track that dries fairly quickly anyway with being so exposed.

Was there last weekend on Sunday with No Limits on the full international. Fluked the weather no rain and when the wind died down quite warm. Was on the full international circuit for the first time but I prefer the coastal as the corkscrew is awesome.

Look out for my blue / white Thou with a yellow Gixxer track bike if you arive early on Sunday.

What group are you in? I've had a slight change of plan due to a commitment on Tuesday and will now be doing the Sunday on the GP circuit. Hopefully see you out there.

How did it go for you guys ?

My mate was talking to a young rider who's dad had been in a shunt with another bike. Not you I hope.

I went really well in most sessions. I've run in my new sliders for my road going Arlenness leathers, but also gone right through my toe sliders and into my boots . I've ground the hex out of one of the Cap Head screws holding the slider so I'll have fun getting that off.

The new lads had a good day too. More addicts me thinks.

Alan

What a good call changing to the Sunday, beautiful sun all day. We camped in North Wales that evening and by midnight it was tipping down and still going when we left this morning!

Track was brilliant, a real combination of bends and some stonking overtaking opportunities. Made a real basic error at lunch time and forgot to turn the genny back on in time to get the tyres heated properly... went out on them luke warm and despite taking it east for a few laps I ripped the right hand side out of the rear tyre (see pic below!)

My son had a great day on his 125. He spent a whole session in the afternoon swopping paint with someone on a ZX6 so was well chuffed...until the last session when he lost the rear and lowsided onto the start/finish straight. Oh well, we'd spent the week before painting it, guess we can do it again!

A long trip for me at over 300 miles each way, but definitely worth it.

It was a good call. Monday was cancelled because of the wind. Glad you guys had a good day and pity I didn't meet you but catch you next time.

Ratty.
