He wishes he was that handsome

Thanks for the congrats everyone!

Mark was kind enough to go with me to Shoreham on Saturday to inspect the bike and managed to take a few pictures while at it. He also deserves my gratitude for pointing me in the direction of RS model in first place.

Took the bike out for a short ride towards Horesham yesterday - what a beast of an engine! It pulls like a horse (or 118 of them) in any gear at any revs. I think I'm going to like this one The only thing I'm struggling a bit with is the riding position. It is a first bike I've had with clip-ons and as I'm quite tall with short arms I seem to be getting sore back after a few miles in the saddle. It might be because I'm still very tense while riding it. I'll keep it like it is for the next couple of weeks and see if things change a bit. If not I'll get some bar risers. Other than that the bike is great

Hope you grow to love it, but at least you know you have an option to modify it.
Stomp grips might be an easier option to take the strain off your back.

Probably your back muscles are just not used to being on a bike after so long out of the saddle. Give it time and your back will strengthen up

Good to see you on a bike again matey. Just a shame that it's a triumph.

If we'd detoured via Bruntingthorpe , it'd kick it's heels to an indicated 150 without issue, bit soft on the front end, but worlds away from a fazer or SV.

Cheers Mark
