Don't go about projects with "I'll think about it when I get there" plan right from the start then you don't have to bodge later. A minutes thinking here will save you 10 minutes head scratching later.
And an expensive disaster plus a useless lump of alloy in your hand

ok will go with 10mm plate, will get a m6 tap for the clock mount

for the risers do you just use longer bolts to go through the thicker yoke and a nut on the other side of the yoke just like the stock set up?

You forgot about the .ORG discount we do on our products for forum members. £154 gets you a 1" thick billet yoke in black or slver with risers for 22mm or 28mm fatbars with FORUM discount that price is £118.09 that inlcudes the postage cost.

Use the code SVORG on the website, web orders only!

If you dont ask you dont get remember.

The 1" thick billet yoke looks fantastic and is also total piece of mind, remember the part you are bodging with chemical metal and bits of alloy plate is the same part you are going to go into that sweeping corner probably well over the speed limit (on a track of course)

The last thing you want is for the handlebar to come loose.

I am sure there are plenty of competant people on here that make a good job of it and its safe but someone one day might not be as competant and might be running around on a dangerous conversion.

Thats right of course there is no limit on a track, you still dont want your bars to fall off!
