Can recovery not just plug the hole to allow you to ride to a tyre fitters in the morning?

Other than that, how far is your closest garage? I wouldn't be that comfortable removing the wheel without a proper stand. I'd be tempted to take a very careful ride to the garage. But then that is me. From experience an empty rear wheel does feel very odd...

No recovery won't plug it because it is tubeless, and speed restrictions blab blab blab........ garage is about 5 miles away, could ride it, but unsure how quickly it is losing, maybe put some air in it when he gets back and see how long it takes

engine fault light they cleared........ him and dan undid the battery and tightened it, then ran it 3 times till fan kicked in and it went.... even gary said that's what they tell people when they call the garage

Thats a load of horse excrement about plugging the tyre. I've had the AA do that for me before. They only advised that I take it steady and get it sorted quickly. And I did.

Good news on the light though. However my solution of taking the bulb out stands.

I was for covering it with tape!

Your way would be neater

I know what they have said about plugging is a load of rubbish, the AA did drew's last time on the SV, but whoever Carole Nash use won't plug it.... unless it was the distance (45 miles on motorway) that he was from home?!

Magor to Bristol via the M4, M32. Or was it Magor to Swindon via the M4? Either way there was M at the start of the number and more than a couple of miles were covered.

Though at this point I realize I'm not helping...

Depends on where the pegs are but if you have axle stands they will sit just under the footpegs and the bike will be perfectly stable to have the rear wheel off.

like this:

Works best with solid footpegs but works with folding ones too, you just need to locate the stands closer to the mounting plates (ie on the cup before the pivot) and be a bit more careful.
