RavingDavis got his entire bike, except the tank, including lowers, resprayed in it's original Suzuki colour for 250 quid. See the photo's of the NWR6 weekend for pictures of his bike (fully faired yellow pointy). It wasn't an absolutely perfect match, but I think that's only because the tank has faded over the years and he was on a budget so didn't want to spray bits that didn't need spraying. You need the bike to be clean and in the sunshine and look hard before you see it.

Because of the lowers there was as much work and paint as an entire half faired bike. I think the guy probably sold himself short and this was a cheap price, but 400-500 for a full respray is as much as I would be prepared to pay. PM RavingDavis for contact details and the full story, he wasn't too happy with the fact the guy took longer than he said he would, but I think it was a homer and he had to fit it around his employers jobs. He also chipped a panel after spraying it so had to respray a section, but hey, anyone can accidentally drop a panel and chip the paint.

Pop along to your local college, sometimes you will find they need panels for their students to paint (if they offer automotive courses that is) I have a complete set of panels at my local college being painted Lamborghini Rosso Metalic, the cool bit was that all I needed to do was buy cheap panels off ebay (cracked and scuffed does not matter if they are being painted) all its costing me is paint and ABS welding rods! time scales are a bit poor - from start to finish will probably be 2 months or so that is why I bought a complete set of panels so that I could keep the bike on the road whilst they were being painted. Another advantage of having 'new' panels on the way for summer is that I havn't had to wash my bike for weeks! its wearing a layer of volcanic ash with pride!
Cheers
