Ebay is a crazy thing. I was bidding on some trainers, which in the end went for more than they are selling them for in a major sports chain.

It may be as you haven't put motorcycle or bike in the title.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the listing or the Jacket, it is was my size I'd happily buy it for that price.

I think a lot of people search for the more trendy brand names because the savings are a lot bigger. Most people would rather buy a £400 jacket for £100 than a £150 for £50.

Its ebay, people want things for next to nothing. You put no returns, people like to buy things then **** you off by returning them. Next time start it at 99p with a reserve people don't like to be outbid so a bit competition helps.
Whatever it ends up at is what it is worth or you would have sold it. Ebay is a buyers market, if you want rid of stuff great, if you want a profit, forget it.

I'd only mention the zip once and leave it at that, don't say bodged, say repaired. Give a short, simple, clear reason for you selling the jacket. Ditch the stuff about it being a bit big on you, you've given the jacket size, that's all that matters. You could also mention:-

Roughly how many miles the jacket has done?
Did you buy it new?
How much did it cost new?
How long have you owned it?
Have you crashed in it?

Bum it up a bit as well...don't lie though!
"Great jacket, never worn in an accident, only done 1500 miles over 1 year. Cost me £100 new, and the equivalent RST jacket in this years catalogue costs £120. Too many pies and a shiny new jacket for Birthday mean it has to go. Grab yourself a bargain!"

A lower starting price with a sensible reserve could also help.
