Hey I booked the ferry. Friday 25 June - Sunday 4 July. This means I can't do GM I'm afraid. Stopping at Troyes on the way south, main base is Bourg St Maurice, about 50km north east of Grenoble. No wife, no kid, just me and the bike

Can't wait

Quickest way to the alps is via geneva, you can do it in one day if you are keen. Or get the overnight train to Nice.
